Marc Kassis is a seasoned executive with extensive expertise in IT software, SaaS, cybersecurity, and professional services. Notably, he has driven the establishment of transformative cybersecurity practices in the Middle East, such as creating Atos’s regional cybersecurity practice, which became a benchmark for consulting services. He founded InoGates to accelerate the growth of cybersecurity businesses in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. InoGates operates as a dynamic platform that supports cybersecurity vendors through key success factors, including value-added services, consultancy, and tailored solutions, which translate into measurable outcomes such as accelerated market entry, enhanced operational efficiency, and improved client satisfaction.
Starting in November 2016, Marc spearheaded the development of Ingram Micro’s cybersecurity strategy as Cybersecurity Division Lead. He collaborated with country-level teams to develop a robust portfolio of vendor solutions, training programs, and managed security services, focusing on impactful consultancy initiatives. He was instrumental in channel partner development and strategic marketing initiatives. Prior to this, he served as CEO for Atos Middle East, expanding the company’s digital transformation capabilities in the region and establishing Atos’s regional cybersecurity practice, which became a benchmark for consulting services in the market.
As Managing Director for Dassault Systèmes, Marc launched the company’s regional affiliate in Dubai in 2012, increasing its visibility and supporting industries through strategic collaborations with local partners. He drove the adoption of Dassault’s 3DExperience solutions to improve competitiveness across multiple sectors. Prior to that, he was based in Doha from 2008 to 2012, leading Alcatel- Lucent’s Qatari unit as CEO. He oversaw operations in Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and Yemen, playing a pivotal role in Vodafone Qatar’s launch and navigating the rapid growth of the business in a highly dynamic environment. Earlier in his career, Marc held various leadership roles within Alcatel in France and Eastern Europe from 1994 to 2008, including Project Manager, Sales Director, and Country Manager for Croatia and Slovenia, based in Zagreb.
Marc is actively engaged in the regional business community as a French Foreign Trade Advisor to the French Ambassador, fostering international trade relations and supporting enterprises in the MEA region.
Marc holds a Master of Science in Engineering (M.Sc. Eng) from CentraleSupélec, a leading French institution specializing in electrical engineering, electronics, and IT. He also earned a Master of Science from Nice-Sophia Antipolis University. Fluent in French, English, and Arabic, Marc is married with two adult children.
