Shikhar Kwatra

Shikhar Kwatra is a Partner Solutions Architect at OpenAI, where he guides global teams in building and scaling advanced AI solutions. With over 12 years of industry experience—from his start as a founding engineer at mLabs to roles at IBM, Amazon, and now OpenAI—he has developed deep expertise across the technology stack.

Recognized as the youngest Indian Master Inventor, Shikhar has filed more than 400 patents spanning AI, IoT, blockchain, drones, wireless systems, and quantum computing. He is also the author of a book on Generative AI with Amazon Bedrock. Prior to OpenAI, Shikhar was an AI/ML Specialist Solutions Architect at Amazon, focusing on operationalizing machine learning models. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.

Outside of his professional work, Shikhar enjoys composing music, playing the guitar, practicing yoga, and exploring AI-IoT applications. He encourages fellow engineers to approach problems with an inventive mindset and to let their work speak for itself.
