The content and scenario pages listed for phishing campaigns differ depending on the type of phishing campaign selected.
- Awareness Campaign: When the user clicks on the fake link in the email template, they are redirected to a landing page that either contains content appropriate to the scenario or redirects to a legitimate web page.
- Data Entry Campaign: When the user clicks on the fake link in the email template, they are redirected to a fake data entry page. After the user enters their information, they may be redirected to content appropriate to the scenario or to a legitimate web page.
- Malware Campaign: When the user clicks on the fake link or an attached file in the email template, malware is downloaded. There is no further redirection to another page.
- File Transfer Campaign: When the user clicks on the fake link in the email template, they are redirected to a fake file download or upload page. After the user downloads or uploads the file, they may be redirected to content appropriate to the scenario or to a legitimate web page.
- Attached Data Entry Campaign: The user downloads and runs the malicious attachment from the email template, which then redirects them to a fake data entry page.
- Phish and Drop Campaign: When the user clicks on the fake link in the email template, they are redirected to a fake data entry page. After entering the information, they are redirected to a malicious software page.
During the campaign launch, modifications and customizations can be made to the email template page of the selected phishing campaign type.
- Sender Name: Indicates who or which organization/brand the email is sent from.
- Sender Address: Displays the sender’s email address. A registered domain name can be used in this section, or the domain name can be customized. A subdomain can also be added before the domain name.
- Subject: Displays the subject of the email.
- Template URL: Shows the URL of the link in the template. It indicates the URL of the page to which the user will be redirected when clicking the link in the template. A subdomain can also be added before the URL in this section.
- Embed Images: Prevents Outlook from blocking images in the email template when the sender’s address is not added to the safe sender list in Outlook.
In the email content section, you can customize the content and scenario template to be used in the phishing campaign. The campaign is launched with the changes made in this section.
You can view all the changes and customizations through the Preview button and send them to yourself as a test.
If you have selected the Malware Campaign type, you can modify the type, name, and operating system of the malicious software delivered as a file on this screen.
Additionally, just as you can make changes and customizations to the email template in the phishing campaign, you can also modify and customize the training template if training is added to the phishing campaign, and the certificate template if a certificate is selected.
